Feast of St Michael School Patron.

Friends and pupils gathered together to celebrate Holy Mass on the feast of St Michael.  Father Chris welcomed everyone from near and far including Mr Nagle a distinguished "angel" who traveled all the way from from Manchester to visit the school for the first time.  " It is so wonderful to visit St Michael's and see the good work going on here,  I first heard about St Michael's some years ago and have been supporting it ever since".  Father Chris offered Holy Mass for the school and its many benefactors, especially those recently deceased including Mr Nagle's much loved wife who was also a great supporter of St Michael's school.

Donna Birrell from Radio Cornwall was also visiting St Michael's for the second time this month recording a feature article for Radio Cornwall.  This was broadcast across the county bringing the work of St Michaels to the attention of the wider community.  It also marked the public launch of the New Buildings Appeal.  Donna was very impressed by the school and in particular the confidence of it pupils who interviewed expressing their views and feelings about what St Michael's means to them.

The day was also marked by the visit of the Pilgrim image of Our Lady of Guadaloupe.  This impressive digital reproduction of the image of Our Lady of Guadaloupe  has been touring Parishes throughout the UK. Father Chris explained about the image and how it first appear on the cloak of Mexican Indian Juan Diego - baffling skeptics and amazing believers ever since.
